This great - tho small - park is about a 40-minute drive from Victoria and well worth it! Features include a gentle walking trail through mixed woodland and along a winding creek, cobble beach (no sand!) for picnicking and exploration, bird watching at Sherwood Pond (although the pond is getting quite overgrown lately!), spectacular views of Juan de Fuca Strait, Race Rocks, The Olympic.

As of May 2020, the route has been amended. Please stay within the bounds of Devonian Regional Park and do not walk along the beach path. The beach outside the park that is above the high-water mark is private property and unfortunately, the public is not welcome. The beach within the park is lovely and the trails are well-maintained. The trail can get muddy at high tide.
